Chicory Root - Feed Ingredient
Chicory root comes from the plant Cichorium intybus, a perennial herbaceous plant native to Europe. In animal nutrition, the root is primarily valued for its content of inulin, a type of soluble dietary fiber classified as a prebiotic.
