Choline Chloride - Feed Ingredient

Choline Chloride is a synthetic, water-soluble form of choline, a B-vitamin.It is commonly included in equine and livestock feeds as a nutritional additive to supply choline, which plays key roles in fat metabolism, nerve function, and maintaining cell membrane integrity.

In equine nutrition, choline is not considered essential for adult horses under typical conditions, as it can be synthesized in the liver. However, supplementation with choline chloride may be beneficial in horses with increased metabolic demands, reduced forage intake, or under physiological stress—such as broodmares in early lactation or horses with hepatic or digestive concerns

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Choline Chloride as an ingredient.
