Dehulled Lupin Seeds - Feed Ingredient

Dehulled lupin seeds are the inner kernels of lupin legumes (Lupinus spp.) with the outer hulls removed. This processing step improves digestibility and reduces fiber content, making the seeds more suitable for inclusion in animal feed.

Lupin seeds are high in protein, typically ranging from 30–40%, and also provide energy from complex carbohydrates and fat. Dehulling removes much of the indigestible fiber and anti-nutritional factors such as alkaloids, which can be present in higher levels in unprocessed lupins.

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Dehulled Lupin Seeds as an ingredient.
