Distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) is a byproduct of the ethanol and alcoholic beverage industries, produced from the fermentation of grains such as corn, wheat, or barley. After starch is removed during fermentation, the remaining material is dried and processed into a nutrient-rich feed ingredient. DDGS contains protein, fiber, fat, and residual yeast components, making it a valuable energy and protein source in animal feed.
