Ethylparaben - Feed Ingredient

Ethylparaben is a synthetic compound belonging to the paraben family of preservatives. Chemically known as ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, it is used to inhibit microbial growth and extend shelf life in food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic products.

In equine feed or supplements, ethylparaben may be included in small amounts as a preservative to maintain product stability, particularly in moist or liquid formulations. It helps prevent spoilage caused by bacteria, yeast, and mold.
