Full Fat Soybean Meal - Feed Ingredient
Full Fat Soybean Meal is a high-protein, high-energy feed ingredient derived from whole soybeans. Unlike defatted soybean meal, which results from oil extraction processes, full fat soybean meal retains the natural oil content of the soybean, typically through mechanical processing such as extrusion or roasting. This process both stabilizes the oil and deactivates anti-nutritional factors such as trypsin inhibitors.
It is commonly used in animal feed formulations for its excellent amino acid profile, digestibility, and energy density. The retained oil increases the caloric value, making it especially useful in formulations requiring higher energy levels.
The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Full Fat Soybean Meal as an ingredient.
