Hydrolyzed Vegetable Oil - Feed Ingredient

Hydrolyzed vegetable oil is produced by breaking down vegetable fats into smaller components—primarily free fatty acids and glycerol—through a process called hydrolysis. This may be achieved enzymatically or chemically and can be sourced from various oils such as soybean, canola, or sunflower.

In equine nutrition, hydrolyzed vegetable oil is used as an energy-dense ingredient and emulsifier in specialized feeds or supplements.
