Locust Bean Gum - Feed Ingredient

Locust bean gum, also known as carob bean gum, is a natural polysaccharide extracted from the seeds of the carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua). It is composed primarily of galactomannan, a type of soluble fiber.

In equine feeds and supplements, locust bean gum is used as a thickening, gelling, or stabilizing agent. It helps improve texture and consistency in liquid or paste formulations and may aid in ingredient suspension and uniformity.

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Locust Bean Gum as an ingredient.
