Monocalcium Phosphate - Feed Ingredient

Monocalcium phosphate (MCP) is a mineral supplement commonly used in animal feed as a source of phosphorus and calcium. It is produced by reacting phosphoric acid with a calcium source, such as limestone, resulting in a highly bioavailable form of phosphorus.

In horse nutrition, MCP is often included in feed formulations to balance the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio which is important to maintain proper skeletal health.

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Monocalcium Phosphate as an ingredient.
