Phosphoric Acid - Feed Ingredient
Phosphoric acid is an inorganic acid commonly used in equine feed formulations as a source of phosphorus and as an acidifier to help regulate pH. It is a highly bioavailable form of phosphorus, an essential mineral required for bone development, energy metabolism, and various physiological processes in horses.
In equine nutrition, phosphoric acid is often added to commercial feeds and supplements to balance phosphorus levels, particularly in diets that may be deficient in this mineral. It is also used to improve palatability in liquid or pelleted feeds and to enhance acidification in some digestive health formulations.
The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Phosphoric Acid as an ingredient.
