Polyisoprene Latex - Feed Ingredient
Polyisoprene latex is a synthetic or natural polymer derived from isoprene, a hydrocarbon compound. It is chemically similar to natural rubber and is used widely in industrial applications for its elasticity and resilience. In its latex form, polyisoprene appears as a milky fluid composed of dispersed polymer particles in water.
Polyisoprene latex is not a typical ingredient in equine feeds or supplements and has no nutritional function in animal nutrition. Its presence in a feed manufacturing or formulation context may be related to non-nutritional applications, such as coating agents, adhesives, or binding materials used in feed processing or packaging.
