Rolled Corn - Feed Ingredient
Rolled corn is whole corn that has been mechanically flattened by rollers. This process breaks the kernel’s outer shell, making the starch inside more accessible for digestion compared to whole corn.
In equine diets, rolled corn is used as an energy source due to its high starch content. It is often included in grain mixes or textured feeds. While it improves digestibility over whole corn, it is less processed than flaked or extruded forms.
