Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate - Feed Ingredient
Tetrasodium pyrophosphate (TSPP) is an inorganic compound used in food and feed products primarily as an emulsifier, dispersing agent, and pH buffer. It is a salt of pyrophosphoric acid and typically appears as a white, water-soluble powder.
In equine nutrition, TSPP may be used in small amounts in processed feeds or liquid supplements to improve texture, stability, and ingredient dispersion. It has no nutritional value and is included purely for its functional properties.
