Torula Dried Yeast - Feed Ingredient

Torula dried yeast is a deactivated yeast product derived from Cyberlindnera jadinii (formerly Candida utilis), grown on wood sugars or other carbohydrate-rich substrates as part of fermentation processes. After cultivation, the yeast is inactivated and dried, resulting in a high-protein ingredient rich in B vitamins and nucleotides.

In equine nutrition, Torula yeast may be used as a natural flavor enhancer, protein source, or feed palatant. It also contributes to amino acid and vitamin content, particularly B-complex vitamins.

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Torula Dried Yeast as an ingredient.
