Vinasse - Feed Ingredient

Vinasse is a liquid byproduct of ethanol and alcohol production, typically derived from the fermentation of sugarcane, sugar beets, or molasses. It is the residue remaining after distillation and contains organic matter, minerals, and small amounts of protein.

In equine nutrition, vinasse is not commonly used as a direct feed ingredient but may be included in some molasses-based products or as a flavor and nutrient enhancer in pelleted feeds. It contributes trace minerals and can improve palatability.

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Vinasse as an ingredient.
