Wheat Feed - Feed Ingredient

Wheat feed is a processed grain-based ingredient derived from wheat, designed to supply concentrated energy and essential nutrients in equine rations. It provides a readily digestible source of carbohydrates, moderate levels of protein and fiber, as well as B vitamins that contribute to overall metabolic function.

Commonly used in performance or working horse diets, wheat feed is processed (e.g., rolled or ground) to enhance digestibility and palatability. Due to its relatively high starch content, it is incorporated in controlled amounts to prevent potential digestive disturbances and metabolic imbalances.
