Organic Barley - Feed Ingredient
Barley is a cereal grain included in equine diets for its energy content, primarily from starch, along with moderate protein and low fat. It is denser than oats and generally requires processing to improve digestibility in horses.
Organic barley is grown without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or genetically modified organisms, following certified organic agricultural standards. Nutritionally, it is similar to conventionally grown barley.
