This report documents the treatment of a case of chronic pleuropneumonia in a 3-year-old Thoroughbred gelding. Resolution of sustained narrow complex ventricular tachycardia and tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy in a Quarter Horse following quinidine therapy. Sustained narrow-QRS tachycardia of three months duration and left ventricular systolic dysfunction were identified in a fifteen-year-old Quarter Horse. Enterocytozoon bieneusi and Encephalitozoon cuniculi in horses kept under different management systems in the Czech Republic. Faecal samples were collected from 377 horses on 23 farms with varying management systems in the Czech Republic.
