Antrodia camphorata - Feed Ingredient

Antrodia camphorata, also known as niu-chang-chih, is a fungus native to Taiwan that grows on camphor trees (Cinnamomum kanehirae). It is harvested, dried, and milled into a powder, preserving its naturally occurring compounds such as triterpenoids and polysaccharides.

This ingredient is sometimes included in dietary supplements for horses to support normal immune responses and provide antioxidant compounds.
