Artificial Color refers to synthetic dyes or pigments added to feed and supplement products to alter or enhance appearance. These colorants are chemically manufactured and regulated for safety and usage levels in animal feeds. Common artificial colors used in feed include FD&C-certified dyes such as Red 40, Yellow 5, or Blue 1.
