Calcite is a naturally occurring mineral primarily composed of calcium carbonate. It is processed into various forms—including fine powders, granules, and pellets—while retaining its characteristic crystalline structure and chemical composition. This form of calcite provides a consistent and predictable source of inorganic calcium for industrial and nutritional applications.

In equine nutrition, calcite is incorporated as a mineral ingredient to adjust the overall calcium levels in feed formulations.
