Carrot Juice - Feed Ingredient

Carrot juice is a liquid extract derived from fresh carrots. It is used in equine feed products primarily for its natural palatability, color, and nutrient content.

Carrot juice contains naturally occurring sugars, beta-carotene (a precursor to vitamin A) and other trace nutrients. The high beta-carotene content is of particular nutritional relevance, as it contributes to the horse’s vitamin A status.

In equine feeds or supplements, carrot juice may be included as a flavoring agent or to enhance visual appeal, particularly in treats or specialty formulations. It can also be found in dehydrated or powder forms, which are more stable for use in commercial feed manufacturing.

The following equine feeds, supplements and products contain Carrot Juice as an ingredient.
