Chopped Grass Hay - Feed Ingredient

Chopped grass hay is used as a feed ingredient in equine diets to provide a structured fiber source that supports digestion and chewing activity. It consists of dried grass hays, such as Timothy, orchardgrass, or Bermuda grass, that have been mechanically cut into shorter lengths. Compared to long-stem hay, chopped grass hay offers similar fiber benefits but in a more manageable form, making it easier to incorporate into formulated feeds and specialized diets.
