Condensed extracted glutamic acid fermentation products are byproducts from the microbial fermentation of carbohydrates to produce glutamic acid, typically using Corynebacterium species. After glutamic acid is removed, the remaining liquid is concentrated into a thick syrup containing residual nutrients, organic acids, and fermentation byproducts.
