These products are typically derived from animal fats (such as tallow or lard) or plant oils (such as soybean, palm, or canola oil) and may be refined, blended, or hydrogenated to improve stability, shelf life, and handling characteristics. Fat products can be delivered in liquid or dry (powdered or prilled) forms depending on the application.
