Gynostemma Extract - Feed Ingredient
Gynostemma Extract is obtained from the plant Gynostemma pentaphyllum, a climbing vine native to parts of Asia. Also known as “jiaogulan,” this botanical is traditionally used in Eastern medicine and is sometimes referred to as “Southern Ginseng” due to its adaptogenic properties.
The extract contains a range of bioactive compounds, primarily gypenosides, which are structurally similar to the ginsenosides found in Panax ginseng. These compounds are associated with potential antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and metabolic effects.
