Momordica grosvenori (Luo Han Guo) - Feed Ingredient

Momordica grosvenori, commonly known as Luo Han Guo or monk fruit, is a small green gourd native to southern China. The fruit is processed to extract natural sweet compounds known as mogrosides, which are intensely sweet but contain no calories.

In equine feeds or supplements, Luo Han Guo may be used as a natural, non-caloric sweetener to improve palatability without contributing to the non-structural carbohydrate (NSC) content of the diet.
