Manganese Amino Acid Chelate - Feed Ingredient

Manganese amino acid chelate is an organic form of manganese in which manganese is chemically bound to amino acids to enhance its bioavailability and absorption in the horse’s digestive system. Compared to inorganic sources like manganese sulfate or manganese oxide, chelated manganese is more efficiently utilized and less likely to be affected by dietary antagonists.

Manganese is an essential trace mineral required for bone development, cartilage formation, enzyme activation, and antioxidant function. It is a critical component in the synthesis of chondroitin sulfate, which supports joint health, and is also involved in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.
