Risk Factors for Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome Incidence in Adult Icelandic Riding Horses. A high prevalence of both squamous (ESGD) and glandular (EGGD) ulcers was previously found in, mainly young, Icelandic horses coming into training for the first time.
