At present therefore, they mostly are found in small livestocks. The past few years they regained some significance through their work in the forests, as an attraction in tourism or somewhere else. This is a newly recognised toxic hazard for grazing livestock in the coastal region of the south west of Western Australia. The disease is discussed in relation to its recent documentation in South Africa where the plant is indigenous.

The distribution of the pigment, which was mainly located in the larger neurones of the brain and spinal cord, is given.
