These were the T-4 test which allows the determination of total serum thyroxine and FBI, the labelled triiodothyronine resin sponge uptake test (T-3 test), and the chemical determination of FBI. Three periods were evaluated: 1) six to 12 months, 2) 12 to 18 months and 3) 18 to 24 months of age.
