Deslorelin acetate (Ovuplant) therapy in cycling mares: effect of implant removal on FSH secretion and ovarian function. Following induction of ovulation with deslorelin acetate (Ovuplant), gonadotrophin concentrations are reduced in the subsequent cycle, leading to increased interovulatory intervals in some mares. Retrospective study of primary intention healing and sequestrum formation in horses compared to ponies under clinical circumstances. In accidental wounds, trauma and infection can result in dehiscence of primarily closed wounds and in sequestrum formation when cortical bone is exposed.
