[Cutaneous vascular hamartoma in a foal]. Vascular hamartomas are rare malformations in foals that typically present as painless masses of the skin or subcutaneous tissue. An 11-year-old American quarter horse mare with bilateral forelimb lameness was examined at a mixed-animal veterinary clinic. Isolation of Moraxella spp. strains in horses. Two species of Moraxella were isolated from swabs obtained from two symptomatic horses suffering from conjunctivitis and rhinitis.
